Greetings!
It’s been a while but we’re back.
While we’ve all been through various degrees of hell, it’s time for us to begin planning in earnest for A New HOPE which will take place July 22-24, 2022. This will be our first in-person conference in four years!
LOCATION: We have a brand new home! St. John’s University is a bigger and much more welcoming environment for HOPE. We will have ample space for talks, workshops, just hanging out, and all sorts of other activities. It’s still in New York City and easy to get to by mass transit. It’s also super close to JFK and LaGuardia Airports for those traveling from afar. And if you want to drive, you can park for free!
SPEAKERS AND PANELS: The CFP for speakers will be released this Thursday. As always, we are open to a wide and diverse programming schedule. We hope you’ll be a part of it. More details will be released on Thursday. Please help us spread the word!
TICKETS: We will be announcing ticket sales shortly. For now we are planning for all tickets to be sold in advance. Stay tuned for more info on this.
ACCOMMODATIONS: We will be announcing special deals at two local hotels in the next few days. These hotels are minutes away from the conference site, easily accessible by bus, taxi, or Uber/Lyft. We can even look into offering a free shuttle if there’s sufficient demand. In addition, there will be on-campus accommodations, the details of which are also coming soon to our website.
We have an FAQ section up at www.hope.net which will answer more questions. That site will also be where new features and changes are posted.
Our thoughts are with those we have lost since we last met together. We hope you’ve managed to navigate through one of the most trying periods in recent history. And we truly look forware to seeing many of you this July in New York!
